I know that running a studio isn’t for the faint of heart. Between chasing enrolments, juggling timetables, answering late-night parent messages, and keeping the lights on, there were plenty of days where I thought "surely there’s an easier way to do this".

Hey! I’m Ryan! Founder & CEO of My Studio Manager and also Co-Director of Off Centre Dance Co in Sydney, where more than 400 students call our studio home. I’ve been part of the performing arts world my entire life — first as a kid who just loved to dance, then as a teacher, and now as a studio owner who’s learned (sometimes the hard way) what it really takes to keep things running smoothly.

For years, I fought with clunky American systems that didn’t “get” how we do things here. They were all about hard selling, pushy pipelines, and endless workarounds. Square pegs, round holes. And let’s be real... most studio owners don’t want to be glued to a laptop learning software. We want to be in the studio, doing what we love.

So I built My Studio Manager.

This isn’t a Silicon Valley startup or some faceless tech project. It’s my baby — built by a studio owner, for studio owners with the single goal of making life easier. At the end of the day, I didn’t create MSM because I love software. I created it because I love studios. I know how much they mean to the kids, families, and communities they serve.
